Conference Tourism Futures November 2-5, 2011

Soon you will be able to download the presentations held during the Tourism Futures Conference.

The European Tourism Futures Institute (ETFI) is organising an international conference on Tourism Futures from the 2nd till the 5th of November 2011 to celebrate the 10th aniversary of the Tourism Management Studies at Stenden university (former CHN). The conference is arranged in cooperation with the International Tourism Alumni Network.

Well-known national and international futurologists, trendwatchers and experts in the field of future studies will be invited to share their knowledge and experiences with the attendees.

Opening of Tourism Futures Conference by UNWTO

We are pleased to announce to you that the Tourism Futures Conference will be officially opened by Márcio Favilla, Executive Director for Competitiveness, External Relations and Partnerships at the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).

The organizational committee is proud that Mr. Favilla will be outlining the recent UNWTO study ‘Tourism Towards 2030’, a study forecasting international tourism growth through the year 2030 and identifying key actual and future trends and their impact on tourism development. We also want to draw your attention to our other keynotes which will be discussing relevant topics such as Scenario planning and the recently updated Shell scenarios, Hotel of the Future and the Future of Sleep.
